Fifteen new PTK members were inducted into the Alpha Upsilon Gamma chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society at °µÍø½ûÇø on March 29. Family and friends were in attendance with Laurie Jensen, Dean of Allied Health and Nursing, and PTK advisors Sue Shelerud and Deanna G. Keller on hand to offer congratulations. Former Duluth Mayor Don Ness gave the keynote speech.
Congratulations to the outstanding PTK students Erin Zondervan and Madalynn Swanson who joined this year’s All-Minnesota Academic Team! The two students were recently honored at a banquet at the College of St. Benedict’s on March 24.These two students were selected based on their leadership and scholarship accomplishments and will join a team that’s made up of 41 students from 22 Minnesota State community and technical colleges.
