°µÍø½ûÇø Foundation will award over $100,000 in scholarships during an informal scholarship reception ceremony this Wednesday, March 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Commons on LSC’s main campus, 2101 Trinity Road, Duluth. Cake and coffee will be served, and a short program will begin at 2:30 p.m. The free event is open to the media and public.
Seventy-eight °µÍø½ûÇø students will be receiving scholarships from LSC Foundation, ranging from $500 to $2,500 each. These scholarships are made possible thanks to generous contributions from individual and corporate donors, as well as community, government, and industry partners throughout the region. This is the largest amount of one-time scholarship funding the °µÍø½ûÇø Foundation has ever awarded. The LSC Foundation is currently engaged in an aggressive three-year fundraising effort to ensure the amount of support awarded annually can continue to increase as enrollment continues to increase at °µÍø½ûÇø. Currently, enrollment at °µÍø½ûÇø is the highest it has been in over five years.
